Shipping:
SCOLLARD AUCTIONS provides LIMITED in house shipping on domestic shipments. Invoices will include shipping charges for items within the domestic shipping limits, please inquire prior to bidding if your item can be shipped in house. Large or difficult items may require 3rd party shipping from an outside source. If your winning bids cannot be shipped in house the Buyer is responsible for all aspects of shipping including gathering estimates, arranging for pickup and shipment as well as insuring lots in transit. At SCOLLARD AUCTIONS discretion, SCOLLARD AUCTIONS may assist in the process of gathering and third-party quotes and assist in arranging shipments through third parties. SCOLLARD AUCTIONS takes no responsibility for any acts or omissions involving third party pickup, packaging, and shipment of lots. SCOLLARD AUCTIONS makes no guarantees lots may be shipped in house.
In House Shipping Methods:
SCOLLARD AUCTIONS may utilize multiple shipping methods at SCOLLARD AUCTIONS discretion. Small package shipments sent from SCOLLARD AUCTIONS typically utilize UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail.
Storage:
Any lots remaining uncollected after 10 business days following the completion of the sale are subject to a $5 per day storage fee.
Payment:
Payment is required by the Buyer within 3 days immediately following the completion of the sale. The Buyer agrees to pay the hammer price plus the buyer’s premium as well as any applicable sales tax. ALL JEWELRY OR ITEMS CONTAINING PRECIOUS METAL MUST REMIT PAYMENT VIA check, money order or wire transfer only. SCOLLARD AUCTIONS accepts all major credit cards, checks, money orders and wire transfers.
Multiple Bidding Platforms:
SCOLLARD AUCTIONS may utilize multiple bidding platforms including Live Auctioneers. This can result in a lot selling on a different platform for the maximum amount you left on Live Auctioneers as an absentee bid. Bidding live is the best way to increase your chances of winning a lot.
Return and Refund Policy:
SCOLLARD AUCTIONS accepts returns on purchases due to buyers remorse as long as the buyer notifies SCOLLARD AUCTIONS within 3 days of receipt of the purchase and arranges for the purchase to be returned at the buyers expense in the same condition. Refunds will be provided within 2 weeks once the purchase is returned to SCOLLARD AUCTIONS in teh same condition it left.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATING IN BIDDING:
By participating in bidding online bidders acknowledge they have read, reviewed and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Bidder also agrees to abide by applicable federal, state and local laws. Auctions are conducted under the listed terms and conditions. Conditions and representation of lots is provided as guidance for the bidders and should not be treated as a statement of fact. All lots are sold as is with no representation of age, condition or description. Absence of condition does not imply perfect or free of flaws including cracks, damage, tears or other possible imperfections. By participating in this auction bidders agree that all lots are sold as is without any warrants or representations with respect to the lots. The auctioneer retains the right to reject any bid and to withdraw or pass any lot at his or her absolute discretion. When identical absentee bids are submitted the auctioneer will accept the first bid presented at his or her discretion. The highest bidder as determined by the auction house shall be responsible to pay for the hammer, buyer’s premium and any applicable sales tax. Ownership of lots shall not be transitioned to the respective winning bidder until the auction house is satisfied with all funds being transferred and cleared to the auction house’s account. Buyers have 10 days to arrange for removal of lots from the auction houses facility. After 10 days the auction house reserves the right to charge a $5 storage fee for each additional day until the lots have been removed. The auction house reserves the right to relist and sell any lots which have accrued a storage fee larger than the hammer plus buyer’s premium total for a given lot. Shipping and safe delivery of the lots is the buyer’s responsibility. SCOLLARD AUCTIONS will assist by providing in house shipping on domestic purchases. In house shipping is only available for items within the domestic shipping limits. The auction house reserves the right to update or remove any lot listed at the auction house’s discretion.
AutoPay on Auction Platforms:
If you have not contacted Scollard Auctions to arrange payment within 3 days of the time that invoice is sent, we will charge the credit card you used to register for the auction for the amount of your invoice.
