Handsomely carved wood mask with triangular bands with white throughout the top triangles. Almond shaped slit eyes with round eyes. The mask has horns and braided material in order to wear for ceremonies. Size 13" H x 7 1/2" W x 9" L
Collected prior to 2008, ex-Lacy Gallery (Vanna & Lee Lacy collection), Los Angeles CA. Lacy Gallery was founded upon six decades of collecting ethnographic and fine art. Lee Lacy was a distinguished Hollywood producer of iconic TV series and commercials.
Condition: Loss to bottom of mask and one of the three top horns as shown, patina and wear commensurate with age and use throughout.
