Elmwood mine Carthage, Tennessee. Galena is also known as lead glance, it’s a natural mineral form of lead sulfide. It is one of the most important ore of lead and source of silver. Galena crystals are semiconductors, and were used in early wireless communication systems. It was the crystal used in crystal radio receivers. Size 1 1/4" H x 1" W
