Early French oil lamp with a reservoir on a high base made in the 19th century. Made of brass and has a rolling fuse. The roll shows the brand Gardon and Bte SGDG, which means brevete sans Garantie du Gouvernement or ‘patent without government guarantee’. Size 9" H
Condition: Rolling fuse is fused in place, minor surface wear and patina throughout.
