Chinese painted porcelain drunken pot, Li Bai. Li was a highly talented poet in China and was known for getting drunk on wine and creating famous poems after getting drunk. He is depicted here passed out on a wine jug similarly stylistic of a honey-pot, wearing long white robe and black shoes. His right arm supports his head against the jug while his left lays in his lap. Size 12 1/2" L
Condition: Small chips to beard, and foot, no obvious signs of restoration or repairs. Some soiling to base.
