Patriotic Order Sons of America (P.O.S. of A.) a fraternal order of patriotic American’s established since 1847. The order worked to preserve the US constitution, public schools, and the American was of life. Their motto is "God, Our Country, and Our Order" member of the organization were all native-born or naturalized their activated were focused on children’s education and proper care of the American Flag. Constructed of a heavy velvet in red, white, and blue with metal thread and mostly intact tassels. The sash features two large rondel stars in textile to the stars and lower section. The interior with a red padded cotton or silk. Old auction or inventory label to the lower right.

Baldric or Parade sash were often worn by Politicians and Patriots during parade or Champaigns of the 19th and early 20th century. 43" L
