Africa, Congo Region, probably 20th c. or sarlier Congolese dagger with original sheath and twine, the dagger features a pointed ovoid shaped blade with raised central ridge and pierced holes to either side, the crossguard pointed and in brass, heavy flattened copper wire wrapping to grip, unusual downward pointed pommel in wide form with inset tacks in brass over wood. 17 3/4" L, blade 11" L
