Hand drawn, Crofutt leaves nothing to the imagination as a cowboy loads his rifle, readying himself for a hunt of some kind. Each stroke of his pencil is intentional and meticulous. Size in frame 22 3/4" H x 18 1/2" W, sight 19 1/4" H x 15 1/4" W. Signed and dated, 1987
BR> Art, aka ‘Misfire Mel’ was a cowboy through and through, and chose to live life on his own terms. He was a reenactment actor who traveled through the Southwest participating as a member of the Mojave Muleskinners. Crofutt was also in the movie "Tombstone" and played alongside actors such as Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer and Sam Elliot.
Condition: As-is condition with minor scratches to frames, else in good condition.
