Large 19th/early 20th century African, Ivory Coast wobe or we mask hand carved from a single large piece of wood, this mask has a bright blue pigment on both cheeks as well as his chin. Expressing a ‘kiss me’ like face, he also has white pigment around his eyes and along his jaw. Points stick out from his face, and as seen the wood is cracking. Size 13" H x 9" W

Condition: As-is with minor loss to pigment, smells of a camp fire or Sulphur, cracks to wood as seen.
