India, purportedly Armory of Mysore. Long slender blade for protrusion through defenses, with a double edge and raised central reinforcing ridge. Typical characteristic H-shaped handle with pierced zig-zag pattern between and long side guards, entirely in all-steel with significant signs of use. 16 3/4" L, blade 9 1/4" L
This example is one a group nearly exactly in proportions and wear to one another that had come to a Southern California Collector as purportedly the armory of Mysore
Condition: slender weapon with pitting and wear from use and prolonged sharpening
