Pre-Historic Anasazi Pueblo Painted Bowl, Pueblo II 900 CE-1150 CE

Pre-Historic Anasazi pueblo painted bowl, probably Pueblo II circa 900 CE-1150 CE, San Juan or Lino. Fine painted white bowl with black zig zag line painted interior. Ancestorial Puebloans or Anasazi occupied parts Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado in conflict with ancient Navajo. They occupied grand pueblos and cliff side dwellings which granted them superior defense against early enemies of the period. 9 1/4" W x 3 1/2" H.

Condition: Repaired from several pieces, lengthy stable cracks, chips and losses to rim and other flaws.
