Jalisco Tri-Lobed Pot w/Frogs, 100 BC - 250 AD

Lovely old Jalisco blackware pottery dish. Hand formed into three lobes, with added molded frogs to each outer lobe. Frogs are seen throughout Mexican culture and symbolize rain and fertility. Size 7 1/4" W x 3" H

ex-old Tucson, Arizona USA collection, formed in the 1970’s and 1980’s.

Condition: Excellent condition throughout, with minor ancient chips to rim.
