Japanese short sword or wakizashi with red wavy lacquer scabbard and brass mounts. The hardware and mounts in brass with similar engraving of a cloud like design. Tightly wrapped leather grip with ray skin underneath and circular form menuki. Tsuba with a textured and cloud incised pattern. The blade single edged very good quality and condition with unique Hamon. Size 23 1/2" L, blade 15 1/2" L
Condition: Well preserved condition throughout.
