Eastern Europe, Imperial Russia, Caucasus region circa 1850-1900. Fine shaska sword with horn grip and inset bone panel, blade single edged with flat spine and with raised central ridge cross section and triple fuller to center section of blade toward tip, the ricasso is also engraved with an unknown scrolling pattern. Scabbard in nielloed decoration.
