Folk art tower of music and carnival like scene has an open lower level filled with dancing figures and musicians, cascading upward staircase with more figures. Another room with scenes of dancing and music. Even the roof is decorated with three figures and an open chimney stack. Size 17 1/2" H x 11" W

Candelario Medrano 1918-1986 was a famous ceramicist, glass worker, and potter who was the adopted son of Julian Acero a celebrated folk artist. Candelario spend his early life making banks and whistles similar to those of his adoptive father. At the start of the 1960s he became close to Jorge Wilmot who helped foster his expansion into the larger structures he would become famous for including arks, apartment buildings, and much more.
