Japanese folding screen depicting samurais in battle. The artist brightens the scene with a golden lit sky that bleeds through to the ground. Japanese houses in the background surrounded by thick full trees, leading to a large army of soldiers, making the odds dozens to three. The samurai warriors in the foreground are heavily decorated and detailed in traditional Japanese suits of armour with samurai swords as they ride on horseback gauging their incoming opponents. Size 36 1/4" H x 65" L
Condition: Wonderful preserved condition throughout.
