Early pre-Columbian 200 BC – 100 AD tan slipped puppy dog. Standing with a playful expression, the dog features perky pierced ears, rounded and beveled eyes, with tongue sticking out with a smiling face. The piece has wonderful mineral deposits throughout with wide spout acting as the dogs tail. Size 10" H x 7 1/2" W x 6" H
ex-old Pasadena, California, USA estate collection, formed in the 1960’s and 1970’s.
Condition: Professional restoration to back left leg and small chip on rim of spout, else intact and well preserved.
