Late period, circa 712 – 300 BC. Wood carved mummy mask, painted with remains of white gesso, wearing a partial high headdress. Incised facial features including almond shaped eyes and pursed lips.9" H x 4 1/2" W, 11 1/4" H on included custom stand
ex-private New York collection, acquired from Morris Khouli in 2022. Mr. Khouli got it from a private NYC collection in the 1990’s.
Condition: ancient loss to surface
