Ottoman or Anatolian type saddle for horseback with intricately threaded and colored form of red leather, raw hide, gilt-metal thread, and dyed leathers. The sides of the saddle intricately threaded with silvered and gilt thread resembling the shapes of floral arrangements and scrolling over leather, and turquoise colored straps to the sides and held in place with brass tacks. Size 16 1/2" L x 13" W
Condition: multiple losses to thread, leather, one metal strap missing
