Africa, Kenya, Luo peoples circa 1950s or later Okumba shield of hide, pigment, and wood. The shield if ovoid form and wrapped tightly to the border. The raw hide face retains some fur and is decorated in a simplistic pattern common to the Luo peoples. 43" H x 23 1/4" W
Condition: some warping to the overall shape from age, use and exposure to elements
