Antique yuhuchunping shaped Korean Joseon dynasty (1392-1910) fluted vase. Vertical ribs which are marked in intervals with pairs of horizontal lines or incisions imitating bamboo in both texture and detail. Decorated in a cluster of bamboo stalks, perfectly demonstrates the transformation of Chinese vessel types meeting Korean aesthetics. A vase like this was likely used for dispensing wine at glamorous and important dinners or gatherings. Size 13 3/4" H
Condition: Crackle glazed all over in a green/grey color with light blue coloring in pools or crevice’s, base has some soiling and old minor loss. Repair to rim.
